Shelby Magnani was having some painful stomach cramps and she decided to go to the nearest walk-in clinic in a neighborhood in Ankeny, Iowa. It turned out that Shelby was very much pregnant with twins and had no idea. When the emergency doctors performed an ultrasound they realized that the babies were monoamniotic and they scheduled an emergency C-section. Baby Ava and her twin sister Anna were born small but otherwise healthy and will go home in a couple of weeks.
Pregnancy can stress you out since you may feel your body is out of control. You are carrying the most important thing ever in it, and you want to make sure it all goes swimmingly. The unknown can be frightening and, of course it makes you anxious.
When I was pregnant, I used to worry about ways to hide the sixth finger my baby was going to be born with. I even asked my husband to count his fingers as soon as she was born! Of course she didn't have an extra digit and I wasted all that energy worrying about it. I know you're probably anxious about your pregnancy too, so hopefully this article will answer some questions.
Babies cry because that's the only way they have to communicate with us. They have different cries to express different "problems" and as new mothers we might not understand them all at once. It takes time, but soon you'll know if your baby is crying because he is wet, hungry, afraid or sick. Hearing a baby cry can be nerve wracking, especially if you can't soothe him and make him stop. It really messes up with your nervous system. Don't despair because help is on its way!

Claire Carter from Lancashire, England was allergic to being pregnant. I'm not joking! She suffered from an extremely rare condition called Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) which is a liver disorder few pregnant women develop when their bodies can't function properly with all those pregnancy hormones. The condition is very serious because affects the bile function of the liver which can cause premature and still births.
Confirmed! Babies do have a lot of fun in the womb. That may explain why some of them don't even want to come out at all it seems like! They are just super comfortable inside their mama's belly. No mystery there, right? Well, now there is an ultrasound picture to prove it. Reddit user Meancloth shared with the world the image of her unborn baby giving the thumps up! Of course the cutest picture ever went viral and received two million visitors in twenty four hours. You have to see this cuteness after the break!
Zoe Saldana is just like us! Well, sort of. The 36-year-old mother-to-be isn't shying away from her junk food cravings while pregnant with her first child (photo after the break). The Hollywood actress was snapped enjoying a bag of Doritos while hitting up a Target store in West Hollywood, California. Saldana, who is about four months along, recently confirmed her pregnancy while nominating her husband Marco Perego for the ALS ice bucket challenge. We bet Saldana doesn't get to indulge in junk food that often so she must be loving the chance to do it during her pregnancy.
I've heard some pretty crazy labor stories in my time. From moms giving birth in airplanes to others who spent days in labor--even weeks! Most of them are so intense they'd make you rethink having a baby, but Vanessa DeLeon's would probably just make you smile. It's the most relatable labor story of them all. The now mom of four from Houston Texas, was right in the middle of enrolling her 4-year-old in preschool when her water suddenly broke!
Ready, set, push! We have all been there at the birthing room, ready to release our baby and feel normal again.
