Shoegasmico: Zoe Saldana's modern Cinderella pumps

I know these aren't made of glass, but these gorgeous Cindrella-inspired Lanvin Resort heels Zoe Saldana sported at the 'Trevor Live' event in Hollywood, California this week are definitely worthy of a modern day princess. I was a huge Cinderella fan growing up and in a way I kind of still am. I always really liked her optimistic attitude and of course her iconic glass slippers!

Honestly, what woman doesn't want a Cinderella-type pair of heels? What I love about these specifically is how modern and edgy they look compared to other glass slipper wannabes I've seen. In fact, the majority of the ones out there are more suited for a bride. They're usually a little over-the-top, rendered in lace, satin, and crystals and include pretty and delicate designs. But Saldana's are in no way dainty and feature a transparent design, edgy rhinestones, and a nude colored lining that even wraps around the ankle. I love them!

These one-of-a-kind pumps can easily be dressed up or down. The Dominican-Puerto Rican actress wore hers with a 60s inspired pink dress and a unique wooden clutch. I'd wear them with a pair of dark shinny jeans and a silky blouse on a weekend or amp up one of my old LBDs on a fashionable Friday night out.

Either way these shoes are practically perfect. They are as sophisticated as they are trendy. And did I mention that  these stunners cost a pretty penny? The crystal-cap toe clear pumps retail at $1,590 at Neiman Marcus. One thing's for sure, if these sparkly stilettos weren't out of my budget, I'd get them in a heartbeat. You don't need to ask me twice!
