Gaining weight is a natural part of pregnancy, and celebs are not excempt from this. Some celebrity moms (or moms-to-be) have spoken openly about those pounds they put on during pregnancy, and we just love them for that. Here are 20 celebs that have opened up about their weight gain.

J.Lo gained about 50 pounds when pregnant with twins Max and Emme, now 9. "When I got pregnant I remember watching my back, belly and butt grow and thinking, 'I will never be the same again,'" she told UK's Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine.

"Then I remember right after the twins were born having that weird jiggly belly and kind of loving that. Because I earned that jiggly belly," she added.

"I knew I had to come back here to do The Voice two months after I had delivered a baby. I didn't have my four months of maternity like every woman on earth has. "Every mother should breastfeed. It's the quickest way to shed the initial weight, and then you have to eat right," the actress told Extra of her post-pregnancy weight loss, in March 2014, five months after giving birth to her second child, Maceo. 

However, Halle didn't mind the extra pounds. "I just feel great because I have another baby. I never thought that at my stage in life another baby—and a baby boy—was coming to me, so yeah, I'm blessed," she said.

The Mexican TV host revealed that she was bullied by some men when she gained almost 40 pounds while pregnant with son Mateo, in 2011. 

"Men don't understand what it means to give birth, to give life, because as women the last thing we care about is the pounds we put on as long as your baby is healthy and in your arms, thank God. That's why I gained the best pounds of my life. I was exceptionally happy when I ate." Montijo said in 2013.

She added that she would "try not to gain as much weight" if she gets pregntant again. "But I had fun [the first time]. I wouldn’t go back and change it because I had a lot of fun," she said.

Although she revealed that she gained 64 pounds, the singer said that being fit was not her priority during her pregnancy. "I enjoy all the different phases," she said. "Sometimes it can get uncomfortable when you’re pregnant and you don’t feel sexy because everything is swollen and a bit tender. But it’s just about making the most of the situation that you’re in. Being pregnant is a beautiful thing."

Earlier this year, Ciara revealed she has dropped 20 pounds since giving birth to baby Sienna. 13
