Zoe Saldana likes some crazy baby names
You guys, I think Zoe Saldana is trying to steal my baby's name! Sure, she doesn't know me or my kids, but wait until I tell you what name she is considering! She kind of made a joke regarding the baby names she is considering when she was chatting with Ellen Degeneres alongside Diego Luna and Channing Tatum about the animated film they all star in, The Book of Life. She can joke all she wants, but I'm on to her and she better start looking for another name. I'm kidding, no I'm not, I am, but only sort of kidding.

So she's still got about two months to go before she pops out them twins she's got in her belly and when Ellen asked her if she was having boys or girls or one of each, Saldana would not say. Rumor has it that she's having boys, though. Anyway, Ellen brings up the whole issue of names and Saldana says, "My husband is very Italian and I'm very Latina so every day we have messages from our parents, 'Oh it should be Rocko, Giovanni, Luigi, Antonio Ramon José.' And you're like, 'Oh my god, people chill, chill.' We're kind of hippie we want it to be like, Lavender." Then she chuckled and said, "Im joking." Lavender?! Lavender!
Okay, first of all let me just say that I may or may not have a daughter named Lavender (I totally do). Now, either Saldana is considering naming her kid Lavender or she made fun of my kid's name. Either way I'm not happy.
Zoe, if you really are having two boys I don't think it's a good idea to name one of them Lavender. The schoolyard can be a very cruel place and a boy named Lavender is going to get bullied. You should consider names like Sage, Kombucha, Garbanzo or Portabello. If on the other hand you are considering the name Lavender for a girl and actually use it, I say it's a lovely name, but I will forever tell people that you stole it from me. If you aren't considering Lavender at all and we're just making a joke, quit making fun of my kid's name! I'm kidding, but only just a little.
