Snooki & other celeb moms share post-pregnancy weight loss secrets
My imaginary BFF's book is out! Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi (a.k.a my imaginary BFF) wrote a book called Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way and of course she's making the rounds promoting it. Recently, she was interviewed by Women's Health about her not so glamorous pregnancy moments, which she chronicles in her new book and how she got back into shape after pregnancy 'cause she really got into shape after pregnancy.

Snooki is a tiny little thing, so I'm sure that any extra weight is pretty noticeable on her. In the interview she revealed: "Up until the seventh month I made sure I was eating healthy with salads, veggies...then once I hit the eighth month mark I was like, I feel like a whale anyway, just screw it, so I started eating everything. And that's when I probably gained the most weight."
So how did she lose the weight and get fit post-pregnancy? She started working out with a trainer six weeks after giving birth and says that at first she felt like she was working her "butt off" with no results and then one day the weight just started to drop off.
It's not magic, my friends, getting in shape takes lots of work. Listen to my imaginary BFF Snooki and don't be discouraged if you don't see results right away, keep at it.

She did it by focusing on her abs during post-pregnancy workouts and by eating 8 small meals a day that were filled with fiber, protein, and other muscle building foods.
