SEE: Dad's day care questionnaire is hilariously honest
If you were to ask me for the best parenting survival tactic, I would say it is to always maintain your sense of humor. You need to get your laugh on as a parent whenever you can otherwise you aren't going to survive the more difficult moments.
Some of the things you will be asked to do as a parent will seem absurd, but you'll have to do them anyway. Take for example, the experience of the father of an 11-month-old who was asked by a daycare to fill out a sort of personality questionnaire for his daughter. He could have taken it all serious and answered it dryly, but what he did is so much better and so much funnier. I'm sure he made the daycare workers laugh, and I'm sure you'll get a chuckle out of it too.

Tell me this is not hilarious?
Under "My strengths are..." this funny daddy listed:
- Slapstick comedy
- Playing one parent off against the other
- Rapid digestion
Hahaha, obfuscation is a pretty big word for an 11-month-old. Heck, I'm not sure I even know what it means. Very clever indeed.
I think my favorite part is under "The friends I like to play with are..." when this father writes, " Not ones that adults can see; like unicorns and pixies, and the wind, and something on the wall over there, and ...squirrel!!!"
This has got to be one of the best questionnaire responses the daycare in question has EVER gotten.
