Telling your family that you're expecting is so exciting, especially if your loved ones have been not-so-patiently pushing for babies for a long time. And though it can be tempting to just blurt it out, the best announcements I've seen are from couples who got really creative and came up with some truly amazing ways to share the news.

Below, check out 12 of the most awesome ways to tell everyone a little one is on the way!

there are parking spots for expectant mothers, they are as close as handicapped spots. They are all over the St Louis area.

My husband and I made our pregnancy announcement to our family at 8 weeks. We tried to be creative with the announcement so we did it two different ways: 1. We bought a few albums (for each family member) and on the first page we added the ultrasound photo along with the announcement "Baby Salazar arriving October 2014" 2. We printed the ultra sound photo and the announcement (double-sided) and rolled it up into a scroll and stuffed it into a balloon for family members to pop it and see the surprise inside. Lastly, we recorded everyone's reaction and made a compilation video to share with friends and family on Facebook. It was a lot of work, but SOOOO worth it. Here is the link below for our final result! http://youtu.be/l3emd_wWDbM

It was my mom's b-day and I wrote her a card that said from the family and ??? At that point she was confused and then looked around and then she realized what it meant.  The whole family was aware at that point.
