Oh my gosh, the drama that has surrounded the making of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie started almost immediately. Originally the film was scheduled for release in August, but then there was the whole uproar about Charlie Hunnam being cast as Christian Grey and his eventual backing out of the project. Well, once a new Christian was found, it was announced that the release of the movie would be pushed back until Valentine's Day weekend 2015. Rumors swirled as rumors seem to do that perhaps the movie would never make it to the big screen, but I had no doubts because--come on!--there is so much money to be made in this enterprise. Well, darlings, it appears that all the drama is over and the film starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson has actually started filming and E.L. James, the author of the book shared a sneak peek of the production with her Instagram followers. Are you ready for this?Continue Reading >

Ladies of the internet, if you choose to watch the Nymphomaniac preview below please, pretty please make sure that there are no kiddies in the room when you watch because if there are you are going to have some serious 'splainin' to do. I'm so glad I finished my lunch before watching it because if I hadn't my computer would be covered in chicken noodle soup that had spewed out of my mouth after just the first few seconds of the trailer.Continue Reading >

I'll tell you what: As the mother of two littles, I hardly ever go to the movies anymore. A short film featuring Wonder Woman went viral on YouTube in just one day. The film, put out by Rainfall Films, is about two and a half minutes long, but it's a very good two and a half minutes and it has Wonder Woman fans clamoring for more. The demand for a full-length movie featuring Wonder Woman is definitely out there.
Now, Lynda Carter will always be Wonder Woman as far as I'm concerned and there is no denying that I love the fact that the original Wonder Woman is a Latina. ¡Viva la raza! Also, Rileah Vanderbilt, who plays Wonder Woman in the Rainfall Films production, does a great job and I am in no way knocking her performance, but I thought I'd put on my casting director's hat and give you my picks of Latinas who would rock the role of Wonder Woman.Continue Reading >
