Channing Tatum went through "crying fits" while his wife was giving birth (VIDEO)
Just when you thought it was impossible for Channing Tatum to get any more charming, he has to go and gush over his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, gave birth to the couple's very first baby Everly.
Tatum freely admitted that the experience as a whole was incredibly emotional for him, and even said that he had to run out of the delivery room a few times to get a grip. So, what was it about the whole birth and delivery that had Tatum feeling every feeling in the world?
Well, honestly, it totally makes sense! Tatum was just overcome by the intensley animalistic aspect of the birthing process. "Theirs is a real reason why God did not give, like, (men) this ability to have babies," Tatum told Chelsea Handler on her talk show Chelsea Lately. "Because we would not be able to do it. You guys, I don't know how you do it. It's a real thing. It's like 'National Geographic animal-style, for real. I don't get it."
"I probably went to the bathroom four times and had a crying fit," Tatum, 33, admitted without any shame at all. I can totally relate to feeling super emotional, I mean, birth is pretty much the most important event in the life of anyone who decides to have children, and it's nice to know that some guys are right along on the roller coaster ride of crazy emotions that go along with it.
For Tatum though, the fact that he felt so helpless also seems to have taken a toll. "It's like someone's hurting someone that you love, and you can't do anything about it," Tatum continued. "You physically cannot help.
I'm still not helping — and the baby's out!"
