Something I struggle with as a mom are mornings. More specifically, getting lunches ready. I'm always looking for fast and tasty ideas that still get us out the door on time. I wish I was more like my mami, making everything from scratch, but with my job and my two kids, I just don't have the time. I still want my kids to feel my love. Food is a great way to show that!

One great lunch time option is Lunchables. At first I wasn't sure about them, but the kids kept asking for them since all their friends get them. They loved them! I discovered they have lots of options. My daughter likes the Ham and American cheese the best--with Chewy Chips Ahoy and a little bottle of water to wash it all down. My son likes the chicken tortilla. With little compartments that hold different goodies, I always feel good that my kids are getting a nice selection that helps keep them fueled up for the day.

At dinner time, I still cook a nice, traditional meal with homemade rice and beans, some costillas and a nice big salad. But at lunch time putting Lunchables in their backpacks helps fill them up…and I'll still get to work on time!

I'm not really a fan of lunchables simply because for the price they charge, I can make them something much more filling.

Not a fan.  Small portions, high in sodium, not a healthy option at all.  It doesn't take that long to prepare my 4 boys lunches, not worth it at all!
