Ok, what's going on in a world where teens have nothing better to do than get drunk on hand sanitizer? Yes, you read right! Hand sanitizer as in what you and I use to make sure our kids hands are clean when there's no toilet for us to properly wash their hands! Don't believe me? Well, doctors in California have issued a warning to parents about this dangerous new trend after six teenagers were taken to the ER suffering alcohol poisoning after gulping down hand sanitizer, according to KTLA.

Again, I ask: what could possible be going through the minds of these children that makes them think it's cool to get drunk on hand sanitizer?

I think I found my answer: "It doesn't sound appealing, but you have to remember that kids don't have access to alcohol so they're very creative," according to Dr. Bill Mallon, who works in the ER at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, and has seen a lot of these foolish kids do this.

People think I'm crazy when I say I'd rather let my children try alcohol at home instead of demonizing it and making it into this cool thing they can't wait to try behind my back whenever they get the chance. Just like my parents did, I plan on allowing my children to try a sip of wine or beer as they get older in the hopes that this will take away the allure of something prohibited. Plus, I don't really see what the big deal is and a lot of other people from Latin America don't either.

I'll never forget how crazy my college roommates would get around alcohol after being totally prohibited from having even a sip of it at home. I, on the other hand, couldn't really care about it one way or the other and I'm pretty sure it had a lot to do with the fact that alcohol was never demonized in my home.

That's just sad that there are kids really doing that! And as u had said , my parents were exactly the same way!I drank beer and wine, well not drank but had a few sips by the time i was already 13, and it really wasn't a big deal about going out to drink as soon as possible, and i think it's true that if u don't make it out to be a big deal it won't be!I'm now 33 years old and i don't drink at all !

Criss...

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so sad =C
