Would you sleep with other men to improve your marriage?
A married mom of two adult children has written a memoir about how she went from being a boring housewife to a sex-crazed swinger. In First Tango in Paris, Emma Styles, 49, describes how after seven years of marriage, her husband Paul and she decided to go on a sexual journey 20 years ago that has only made their relationship both in and out of bed that much pleasurable.
Although I haven't read the book, the topic got me thinking, could I ever do something similar to spice up my own sex life?

The answer is plain and simple: NO WAY!
Call me old-fashioned, prude, boring or whatever you want, but I fail to see how I could get sexually aroused by seeing my husband with another woman. It's not so much that I'd be seething with jealousy, which I would, but I just find the idea of swinging completely destructive to what I consider a loving marriage. I guess I see it as a form of cheating and I've always thought that I'd have a very hard time forgiving my husband if he cheated mostly because I wouldn't be able to get the image of him in bed with another woman.
Style claims neither her nor her husband are ever jealous of each other's partners, but I simply can't comprehend that. It's obvious their description of love is completely different than mine.
I don't really care one way or the other what other couples do behind closed doors, but swinging is definitely not for me or my husband. I'm glad it worked for this couple, although I think it's crazy that the author--who claims her erotic book is unlike others because it's 100 percent true--is so open about it considering she has two kids. I'd be horrified if my own mother decided to share her sexual experiences with the world.
Styles claims she self-published her book because she wants to empower other women. I say she wants a piece of the 50 Shades of Grey action!
