Being constantly "in the mood" might not sound like such a bad thing, but it's actually a real condition that can seriously alter a person's life. Take for example, Florida woman Amanda Gryce.

Gryce suffers from a rare condition known as Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder, which causes her to have up to 50 orgasms a day. It can happen anywhere--even while at work or out with her friends--and are often trigged by ordinary things, even something as simple as loud music! According to the Daily Mail, the arousal can become borderline painful and sometimes, she has to masturbate up to 15 times a day just to get relief!

Gryce, who is now 22, has had the condition since she was only eight years old and says, "This condition controls your life completely and it is like living a nightmare."

I've heard of this syndrome once or twice before but never thought it could affect someone from such a young age! Can you imagine dealing with that at just 8 years old? And to be battling it for so many years...that sounds exhausting, not to mention completely disruptive to your life.

But crazily enough, that's not the only bizarre sex-related disorder out there. Below, check out more on PGAD and other strange syndromes that you probably never knew existed:

5 bizarre sex syndromes you never even knew existed!

Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder

Otherwise known as Restless Genital Syndrome, this disorder is typically caused by some nerve damage and results in spontaneous and uncontrollable arousal. It's uncomfortable and disruptive, particularly because everyday activities--such as riding in a train, vibrations from cell phones, and even going to the toilet--can aggravate symptoms.

Local Florida woman suffered with this condition for years. Local newspaper did a story about her and two weeks later the woman committed suicide--the story and her suicide were apparently unrelated. The stress of living with this condition was finally too much for the woman. It doesn't impact many, but it can devastate the life of one with the condition.
