la lechuzaNo one loves ghost stories more than Latinos. One could say we're connoisseurs of the supernatural, even. Much like American Horror Story and True Detective, the series will focus on a different bone-chilling tale each season. The first one up for this project, will apparently be La Llorona, which is a classic! And though there's no word yet on which Latino folklores will be featured after that, I'm sure whichever is chosen will be good.

If you're like me and you can't wait 'til Longoria's new series premieres to get your supernatural fix, turn on all the lights, grab a loved one for security purposes, and take a look at these 10 bone-chilling Latin American ghost stories in the gallery below.

But be forewarned: number eight is probably going to make you pee your pants, so you'd be wise to stop drinking liquids before you get started. Enjoy!
