The nail biting footage from the security camera of a train in motion shows two women struggling to get out of the train's way and failing. The next thing you know the women were drowned by the engine, but a miracle happened you won't believe--you just have to see it!
What was supposed to be a lovely father-daughter walk along the beach turned into a literal nightmare for one Georgia family. Ommy Irizarry was walking with his 9-year-old daughter, Oceana Irizarry, along a beach in Sarasota, Florida when he was struck by a small plane making an emergency landing.
The 36-year-old dad was killed on impact, according to Sarasota County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Wendy Rose. Fortunately, Irizarry's daughter survived the freak accident. She was transported to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she is said to be in critical condition.
This woman was a true hero. Karen Wessel died while trying to save a little boy from drowning in a northern Wisconsin Lake earlier this week. The 47-year-old woman was on vacation at the lake with her sister, a friend and four children. Tragedy struck once three of those boys swam to a sandbar, but got tired and needed help swimming back to shore. The suburban mom decided to jump in to save them, but lost her life before a rescuer came on scene.
Authorities have scheduled an investigation into the death of an 8-month old baby girl who was determined to have suffered cardiac arrest in her home earlier this month. While this tragic death has not been ruled as suspicious, it did come after an accident that could literally happen to anyone. In another horrible gun tragedy, a man pretending to be a Fed Ex delivery man pushed his way into a suburban Houston home and shot and killed 4 children and their parents. A 15-year-old girl is in critical condition and was able to call police resulting in the capture of a 33-year-old man after a three-hour standoff.
Ronald Lee Haskell, who was news reports say was estranged from a relative of the family, was charged with capital murder for the deaths and for critically injuring the girl.

An 8-year-old boy's father and uncle died yesterday after they jumped into Idaho's Snake River to rescue the child, who had fallen in, and were swept away by the strong current. The dad, 37-year-old Jose Jorge Barroso-Alfaro and uncle, 35-year-old Martin Barroso-Alfaro, were fishing with the child near a bridge when they noticed the boy falling into the river and instinctively dove in to rescue him. The nation celebrated the Fourth of July this weekend and every year without fail, freak accidents caused by fireworks occur. This time, 40-year-old Alazar Ortiz in Northern California managed to blow off his hands while handling illegal fireworks. Police say he and another man were injured in the process.
