A 26-year-old man from Minnesota who was recently tracked down by police and arrested, has to be one of the dumbest criminals on the planet. Nicholas Wig robbed the home of James Wood on June 19. He stole cash, credit cards and even the owner's watc-- and he probably would have gotten away with it had he remember to sign off of Facebook. No, I'm NOT kidding. What an idiot, right?

Wig had broken into Wood's home last Thursday and took with him cash, credit cards and a watch, but left behind a pair of jeans, a belt and some Nike sneakers. But leaving his own belongings behind wasn't nearly as stupid as signing on to Facebook and then forgetting to sign off. Doh!

Yes, this fool signed onto his Facebook page using Wood's computer and not only did he forget to sign off but he left the page open for anyone to see. Who does that? When Wood got home he found his place a mess and noticed things were missing. He immediately called police and later noticed a Facebook page opened on his computer.

Wig soon realized that Wig was his robber. He shared a picture of the 26-year-old from his profile on Facebook announcing that he was a thief and even left his number for anyone who might have information to call him. But the last thing he expected was to get a text from Wig himself that night.

"I replied (saying), 'You left a few things at my house last night, how can I get them back to you?'" Mr. Wood told CBS News. Wig apparently agreed to return to the house to pick up his things and Wood called police as soon as he saw the robber approaching. The not-so-clever thief was arrested wearing Wood's watch. He's facing up to 10 years in prison and $20,000 in fines if convicted.

Does anyone else out there find this hilarious? How do you rob someone's house, log on to Facebook using THEIR computer and then forget to sign off? Then on top of that, text the owner of the house asking if you can come  pick up your stuff. This dude is as dumb as they come!
