Aniston Walker case: Baby missing for weeks found dead, mom finally charged
A baby in Memphis that had been missing since January was finally found by police. The search for 7-week-old Aniston Walker came to a sad close after investigators discovered her body in a ditch this weekend. We first reported that Walker disappeared in January after her mother, 33-year-old Andrea claims she went to drop off her 5-year-old child to school and left the infant with her 3-year-old son.
When the mother was questioned about Aniston's disappearance, police say she was uncooperative and originally said she had nothing to do with the baby's disappearance, but changed her tune when her daughter's body was found.

Little Aniston was found by a motorcyclist 11 miles away from her home in a ditch on Sunday afternoon. Police charged the mother who turned herself in on Monday and admitted to the crime
She was charged with first-degree murder in the perpetration of a felony, aggravated child neglect or endangerment, and first-degree murder. The baby's cause of death has not been revealed yet as an autopsy is still being conducted on her.
When the child first went missing, police suspended their search after a few days because they had no luck finding her. Then they received this unfortunate news. This is so sad!
I'm afraid to learn of the cause of the baby's death because I can't even imagine why a mother of all people would kill her own child. As depressing as this case may be, I'm glad that police were able to discover a body. Otherwise this awful woman would have been able to get away with murder and being a neglectful parent. I hope that the other children were taken from her hom because clearly they aren't in good hands with her. My thoughts go out to the rest of Walker's family as they mourn the loss of this little angel.
