SC Man kills 2 children & 3 adults in girlfriend's family before committing suicide
A South Carolina man killed five people, including two children, before committing suicide. The gruesome scene was discovered by the SWAT team after they received a call from an unidentified man who said he was armed and planning on hurting himself.
When authorities arrived at the scene they found the man, and four of his girlfriend's family members dead, as well as two children around 10 yeard old. Police are calling the incident a domestic dispute gone horribly wrong.

So far police have not identified any of the victims, but say they all died from gunshot wounds. Sheriff Tony Davis believes that the massacre occurred after the man, his girlfriend, and her family got into a heated argument.
Originally the SWAT team thought the call they received hinted at a hostage situation, but it wasn't until they arrived that they made the awful discovery. They believe the children killed lived with the man's girlfriend who also had four other kids in the home. Police say that the rest of the children managed to escape but haven't identified their relation to the other victims.
The news came as a shock to neighbors as well who saw them as a normal family. One neighbor, Rosetta Jennings told WBTV, "The other day I passed by and saw the gentleman going to the mailbox, and he waved. My heart just goes out to the family that has to deal with this."
What a depressing story! I can't imagine what could have caused this man to lose it the way he did, but I'm sure police will get to the bottom of it. I hope those children have loving caretakers and seek therapy after the atrocity they had to witness. My thoughts go out to this family and the children who remain as they go through this rough time.
