A Florida orphan who issued a public plea in church to be adopted by people who will "love me until I die" is finally getting the family he desperately wants!

Davion Navar Henry Only has been in foster care his whole life, but has never been adopted. So last Sunday, the 15-year-old stood up in front of his church and pleaded for a family. His request was so heartbreaking and emotional, it garnered national attention--and since then, his adoption agency has received about 10,000 requests from people asking to take him in!

"I'll take anyone," Only said in his speech. "Old or young, dad or mom, black, white, purple. I don't care. And I would be really appreciative. The best I could be."

Now, it looks like his wish could be coming true at last! In an appearance on ABC's The View, Only's caseworker said the teen will "without a doubt" be getting a family and that they are in the process of reviewing those who requested to take him in. It could take a while--they've received thousands of requests from all across the world!

Among the people reportedly interested in adopting Only? His own biological family! According to the Daily Mail, Only has actually met his biological sister, aunt and grandmother before and they've expressed a desire to be as much a part of his life as possible.

I'm so happy for Only! His story is one that truly tugs at your heartstrings. I'm just glad that so many others were moved enough to take action and reach out. I truly hope he finds that one special family who will give him the love and care he's been looking for all his life.

I am so happy he is finding a home. I cant help but wonder though why in the heck his aunt or grandparent didn't adopt him a long time ago.
