Mom waits TWO years to report her daughter's missing & it makes no sense
It's been almost two years since the last time Casey and Sandy Parsons saw their adopted daughter Erica Lynn Parsons and more than a year since the last time they heard her voice.
Incredibly, they didn't think it necessary to call police because they claim they thought she was with her biological family. Tired of not receiving concrete information about her adoptive sister's whereabouts, the Parsons' eldest son finally reported her missing last week.
Now, a police investigation is underway and the Parsons have lots to explain.

The couple, who adopted Erica when she was two weeks old, have told police a woman whom they thought was their daughter's biological grandmother came to pick her up at their home in North Carolina in November 2011. It wasn't until three months later, in February 2012, that they finally heard back from Erica who allegedly told them she wasn't coming back.
According to the adoptive parents, they thought their teenage daughter was just being rebellious and left it at that. What? I'm so confused! First, you let your daughter leave with a stranger who claims she's biologically related to her. Then, you let three months go by without a word from her. Finally, you think nothing of the fact that she tells you she has decided to live with her biological family. Sorry, but nothing makes sense.
Police have said that after an interview in which the Parsons contradicted themselves and told lies, the couple is now refusing to cooperate with the investigation and has hired a lawyer. Why do that if you have nothing to hide? I hate being so pessimistic, but I don't think this story will have a happy ending.
