Despicable man arrested for recording his son setting a 7-year-old boy on fire
Edward B. Myers from Saxonburg, Pennsylvania and his 15-year-old son have been arrested for setting a 7-year-old boy on fire. This is a sad and disturbing story. Allegedly 35-year-old Meyers and his 15 and 11-year-old boys tortured the 7-year-old boy, and Meyers even got some of it on video using his cellphone. Who does something like that? Oh, and who includes their kids in such cruelty?
According to the criminal complaint, Myers who lived in a trailer with his ex and her 7-year-old son at the time, attacked the little boy while the mother was gone. The little boy told police that after his mother left their home Meyers and his sons started shooting him with pellets from an airgun. He asked them to stop, but they didn't.

At some point the little boy says that Myers threw something into his eyes that felt like sand and burned. When the child went to rinse his eyes out in the bathroom, Myers covered him with nail polish remover, and then either Myers or one of his sons lit the boy on fire. The little boy also claims that Myers filmed some of the attack with his cellphone.
It breaks my heart that this child suffered through such torture and had to wait for what must have felt like an eternity for his mother to come home. He was taken to the hospital with third degree burns. Burns covered about 10 percent of his body. And I'm sure the trauma covers 100 percent of his mind!
Myers is in Butler County Prison on $250,000 bail, while his 15-year-old son will be facing charges in juvenile court. Why does this horrible man even qualify for bail? He's obviously a friggin' monster doing his best to turn his sons into mini-mes.
Like we needed further proof that there are sick human beings in this world.
