Man goes free after molesting 2 teen girls & you will never believe why!
Sleepwalkers can't help what happens when they're in a trance, but one man got away with molesting two 17-year-old girls due to his "sexsomnia". Sexsomnia is a rare disorder in which people engage in sex while they're asleep. The unnamed 31-year-old man from Denmark is said to have been cleared of sex charges because medical tests confirmed that he suffered from the sleep condition.
Isn't that the most bizarre thing you've ever heard of?!
The New York Daily News reports that the incident occurred after a party in his Copenhagen apartment in 2011. According to the teen girls, the man fondled them while they were asleep in his home and immediately woke him up and reported his crude behavior to the police.
However, after taking the case to court, the judge's response wasn't what they expected. The man had charges against him dismissed after tests proved that he had sexsomnia--a condition which only affects about one percent of the world.

This wouldn't be the first time the man had a run in with his embarrassing sleeping disorder as former girlfriends confirm that they too witnessed him in the act. They say that he started seeing a sleep specialist to help him out with his disorder. He even claims that he didn't have any recollection of what happened on the night of the party. Talk about complicated!
It's very unfortunate that these girls lost their case, but I guess the man couldn't help what he did. At least they know he didn't have malicious intentions in the first place and that it was purely by accident. Although, if I was a friend of his I'd think twice before staying over since it sounds risky. Waking up in an unwanted compromising position would make for an awkward breakfast conversation.
