The apartment that Kanye West once owned in New York City is on the market again. The 2,427-square-foot apartment that he and wife Kim Kardashian used to call home whenever they visited the Big Apple is on sale for $4.7 million one year after the rapper sold it to its current owner. The one-bedroom pad is located in downtown Manhattan, in the trendy SoHo neighborhood.

The place is located at the SoHo 25 Condominium Building at 25 West Houston Street. Kanye purchased the apartment in 2005 and then a year later bought the apartment adjacent to it to create one massive unit. The couple stayed at the residence whenever they visited New York with their family, but it seems like a one-bedroom stopped making sense once their family started growing.

The place was designed by famous Italian minimalist architect and designer Claudio Silvestrin and has been showcased in magazines like Vogue and Elle Decor. Kanye is known for his love of design, so the simple, minimalist decor is expected in any home he owns. The luxury building includes in-unit laundry, a 24-hour doorman, and a shared rooftop deck that has 360-degree views of downtown Manhattan.

The couple have been making some major real estate moves as of late, including an apartment in Miami and the purchase of a massive ranch in Wyoming. All of their homes are known for their statement decor and designs, and this apartment they once owned is no different. Scroll through to take a look inside.
