5 Cute tips for maximizing small spaces (PHOTOS)
I live in a home with small rooms and it can be a challenge to decorate without it looking like a cluttered mess. I'm not a professional home decorator and at the moment I can't afford one, but that doesn't mean I can't try my hand and decorating to maximize small spaces.
With the wonders of the internet, it is easy to peek into fabulously decorated homes and get inspiration. Lately, I've been on a redecorating kick and I have found that the following five tips work fabulously for maximizing small spaces.

Play with scale and patterns
Despite this bedroom being small, the bed and patterns give a grand feeling. The bed takes up almost the entire width of the room, but fits perfectly and is a great statement piece. The small tables in front of the bed contrast nicely with the large bed. And the patterns on the wall and floor are offset by the plain white bedding.
