It's hard to believe Jennifer Lopez is turning 45 in less than a month. Her skin is flawless (without a wrinkle in sight) and she's hands down in the best shape of her life. Jennifer has admitted that she dropped 10 pounds due to her strict vegan diet. But that's not the only reason why she's in such great shape. "You got to work out, you got to watch what you eat. It's a job--you've got to buckle down," she told Us Weekly recently. "I feel great mentally and physically."

It's crazy how J.Lo has made her way from a size 6 to a size 2, all just by cutting out dairy, meat and gluten. She looks even better than she did before she had twins Max and Emme. Go vegan: Jennifer claims that going vegan had a big impact on her weight loss. She's eliminated dairy, meat and gluten and eats a very green-heavy diet. According to a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, people that eat meat are more likely to gain weight than vegetarians or vegans. They believe it's due to meat's high calorie and fat content. Can't go vegan? Don't stress, neither can I! Try dedicating at least 2-3 days out of the week where you eliminate meats and dairies all together. Unless you have an allergy, gluten really isn't all that bad for you. It just takes the body longer to process, so try having less or switch to gluten-free food products.

Get the family involved: Jennifer claims that she got her whole family to go vegan with her for support. That includes her six-year-old twins Emme and Max. I'm not sure I agree with kids going vegan, but that's beside the point here. Getting your family or partner involved in healthy eating practices helps you to stay disciplined. I've seen the difference in my own home!

Work out regularly: They say the more often you work out the better the results and that seems to be the case for J.Lo who apparently works out DAILY. And when I say daily, I don't mean she runs on the treadmill for 30 minutes every day. No, she does six-hour dance workouts. Man I wish I had that kind of will power!

Drink less: Jennifer Lopez told InStyle magazine once that she doesn't drink at all! "I think that ruins your skin," she said. "Of course during celebratory toasts, everybody's like, 'You can't toast with water!' So I'll toast with alcohol and just take a sip." Think of all the calories she's preventing just by eliminating alcohol from her diet alone!

Get creative: To keep her vegan diet interesting, Jennifer indulges with quinoa enchiladas, black-bean burgers and zucchini pasta. Yum! I can admit myself, that the more creative you get with your meals the easier it is to stay on track.
