Over recent years many people have praised fish oil because it's rich in Omega 3 fatty acids. It's true that these essential fats are necessary for optimal health. The bad news is fish oil sometimes contains toxins which can be harmful to your body. These can include mercury, lead, arsenic and other industrial waste products.

Krill oil also helps you obtain your weight loss goals. In the past, there was a bad trend where everyone tried "fat free" diets. They found out quickly that they did not work.

Your body needs healthy fats to burn fat. Good fats give you energy throughout the day and help you feel full.

Some proven results of krill oil include:

Stabilizes glucose levels which keeps you from being tired and having cravings for sugary sweet foods. It prevents blood clots which can cause heart attacks. It reduces the level of bad cholesterol and raises the good cholesterol levels. It reduces inflammation and therefore improves hearth health. It helps reduce pain three times more than fish oil after seven days of use. It reduces joint pain. And it's a great help in the relief of PMS symptoms and improved mood.

Krill oil also contains anti-oxidants that are not found in fish oil. Only 3 percent of the antioxidants found in krill oil are found in fish oil. Also, the antioxidants found in krill oil are 47 times more powerful than those found in fish oil.

One of the antioxidants--Astaxanthin--helps reduce eye strain. A study in Italy even showed an improvement in vision in those with the early stages of age related macular degeneration. Improved memory and better concentration are two other benefits of krill oil. A study by the Archives of Neurology showed a 60 percent less risk of memory problems by those who took enough krill oil.

The taste of krill oil is also more pleasant. You're not left with a fishy aftertaste and fish burps. Fish oil actually causes digestion problems in many people. You don't experience this with krill oil.

Krill is not only free from the dangerous toxin found in fish oil, it is also more powerful and more effective at about the same price. There's no reason not to switch.
