You may want to skip the dark chocolate when you are craving a midnight snack. The sweet treat is packed with caffeine and could end up keeping you up all night. Dark chocolate also contains theobromine, an ingredient that causes your heart to pump faster than usual. Save your next piece for after lunch.

Your favorite wine may make you drowsy by the end of the night, but you won’t end up sleeping like a baby. Drinking too much alcohol before bed can cause you to wake up and keep you in a state of shallow sleep. If you want to really sleep tight just skip that extra glass of the vino
