smoothieAhhh... The sweet taste of tropical anything. That's something I crave all year long and this papaya and pineapple smoothie is just what the doctor ordered. Fortunately, papaya is an amazing fruit with the added potential benefit along the weight loss department. It is low in calorie and high in nutritional value. Since I'm crazy about its flavor and also a big fan of low cal smoothies, this recipe is everything I want all in one tall glass. So here it is. Hope you love it, too!

Serve 1

1/2 cubed papaya 
1 cup of cubed pineapple
2 cups almond milk
1 tablespoon of honey

Add all ingredients, except for the ice cubes, to a blender and pulse until smooth. Add ice cubes and blend until smoothie consistency is achieved.


NOTE: Like with everything related to all matters of your health, don't forget to talk to your doctor before starting any diet.

This sounds delicious but for myself I would add more honey.

I like adding oatmeal
