This morning, one of the first things I read was New York Magazine's essay on why pumpkin is the new bacon. The author argued that just a few years ago, pumpkin was not a very popular ingredient. Now, though, it seems to be everywhere. In fact, it's "the new bacon" in terms of just how used (or, some may say, OVERused) it has become.

Well, although pumpkin-flavored everything may be everywhere this fall, there's one thing that I personally am craving: the combination of these two flavors! Seriously. If pumpkin is delicious and bacon is delicious, then what's better than these 5 Latin pumpkin AND bacon recipes? Absolutely nothing, that's what. Try them today!
