Robin Thicke made yet another attempt at winning (or is it whining?) his estranged wife Paula Patton back with the debut of his new single "Forever Love." Though he's far from the only musican to ever put his post-breakup feelings on a track, he's definitely the only one to dedicate an entire album to his ex, ultimately making the "Lost Without You" crooner seem kinda, sorta creepy. Perhaps he should take his cue from these five formerly heartbroken singers who've managed dedicate songs to their exes without slipping into stalker territory.
I have to admit that it's been hard for me to get used to writing about "new" things coming from Jenni Rivera. No sé, I think it's creepy to announce "new" creations from someone that passed away a year and a half ago. But I'm sure that if anyone in the Rivera family feels the same way, the chills go away when they see their bank statements. I say this because to release a SECOND album by La Diva de la Banda, the first one must have been gangbusters. This second one has so many extras, it's worth it to buy the CD and DVD version. You'll see what I mean in a second ...Continue Reading >
Just weeks after debuting her personal new single "First Love," Jennifer Lopez has dropped the official musical video to go along with it--and it may just be her most dramatic one yet!
The video is entirely in black-and-white and starts off like a movie, footage of Lopez walking and running in the desert (in sky-high heels, obviously) while a pre-taped monologue, in which she describes her search for love, plays in the background. Right before the song kicks in, the 44-year-old is shown waking up in the sand in sexy bathing suit as a man on a motorcycle speeds up beside her. That's when things get really steamy.Continue Reading >
Bruno Mars is a hell of a performer on his own, but one very famous person recently made one of his shows even better. Brad Pitt jumped on stage with the singer during his rendition of "Sex Machine" at a Make It Right foundation fundraising gala in New Orleans this past weekend, thrilling the audience with his appearance and his dance moves. And luckily for us, someone caught the whole amazing performance on video. Check it out after the jump!
Wango Tango, a marathon concert that features some of Hollywood's biggest and most beloved artists on its lineup, took place this past Sunday. Several of our favorite stars, including Voice coaches, Shakira and Christina Aguilera each took to the stage to perform their hits and get the audience on their feet at the show. Check out part of their performances below!
It's only been a little over a month since Shakira released her last video but she's already back with a brand-new one! The singer took to Twitter to share the clip for her infectious new single, "Dare (La La La)." As anyone who's heard the song knows, the tune is crazy catchy and super upbeat--which is probably why Shaki looks like she's having so much fun.
In the video, she twirls around in a goth-looking, long black dress and does some serious booty dancing in front of a multi-colored wall. Check it out below!Continue Reading >
It's finally here! No, not Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding (even though that is around the corner)--the cover art for Jennifer Lopez's new album, AKA. The American Idol judge recently posted the new artwork to her Instagram and I have to admit it's HOT! I'm talking red hot! Check out the sexy pic here!Continue Reading >
Jennifer Lopez's new single "First Love" has leaked online and from the sounds of it, it might be one of her most personal songs ever!
The latest track off her upcoming, still-untitled album is the follow up to her first single "I Luh Yu Papi" and was written and produced by Max Martin, who's scored number one hits for the likes of Britney Spears and Taylor Swift. And though any hopes I had for this CD were dashed when I first heard "I Luh Yu Papi" (months later and I'm still not on board with that song), I have to say, I'm feeling way more enthusiastic now that I've heard "First Love." Check it out after the jump!Continue Reading >
Dude, Mariah Carey has been working on her 14th album like forever. Okay, maybe not forever, but at least since 2010 before she had her almost 3-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. Well, it looks like the album is finally going to be released and Mimi is taking a suprise approach to the whole thing. She's not telling us the name of the album or when it will be released, just that it will all be revealed in its entirity via digital partners and a physical retail release will come about a week later. Wait a second, why does this all sound so familiar? Oh yeah, because Mimi is totally copying Beyonce.Continue Reading >
Ricky Martin is joining the long list of Latino superstars contributing to the 2014 World Cup soundtrack! The singer took to social media this week to tease fans with a 30-second clip of the new song he created for the big tournament, called "Vida."
As the title of the track suggests, the song is a super upbeat and tropical jam that celebrates life. And as many other Martin songs, it's sure to get any listeners dancing. Take a listen after the jump!
