Proposing is a big deal for anyone, and especially so because these two seem to have found their twin flame in one another. The pair are reminiscing on their engagement anniversary and everything they have built together since. They commemorated their big day with an adorable video they shared on Instagram on Monday, March 9. It's so sweet to see that their love is still as intense as it was then.

Alex shared the cutest video of their sweetest moments together.

A-Rod took J.Lo on a romantic trip to the Bahamas in 2019, and that's when he popped the question. "One year ago on a beach in the Bahamas…. I was a nervous wreck, more nervous than my entire playing career, I got down on one knee and asked you a question… you said yes ❤️," he captioned the video. "Jennifer, every moment with you is a blessing. You are my best friend, my inspiration, an amazing mother, and a role model to all. Macha, I am so lucky to be with you. Thank you for making my life better. I can’t wait to make more memories with you. I love you. #HappyAnniversary ❤️."

Before their engagement in 2019, Alex was often bombarded with questions of when he was going to pop the question. Now that he finally did it, their fans want to know when their wedding is taking place. "It's been almost a year!!!! When are we having this weddinggggg!!!!!!" one fan recently commented on the engagement photos post Jen shared last year. The couple is rumored to be getting married in the summer but have yet to confirm it. They are really in no rush to tie the knot just yet, and it's also because they both have such hectic schedules.

The pair is in no rush to walk down the aisle.

Jennifer has been married before and she admittedly said she has hurried to altar in the past, but A-Rod assured her there is no need for that since they plan to spend forever together. She recently sat down with Oprah and said "it doesn't matter" when they tie the knot, as long as they are together. "It's so funny because when we first got engaged I was like, 'Oooo, we're gonna get married in a couple months?!' Your old thinking comes right back, all that hopeless romantic [stuff] that made me get married three times," she said. "He's like, 'Whatever you want to do, we can talk about it.' I said, 'But if we're going to be together for the rest of our lives, what is the rush? If that's what we're really going to do, if we're really going to be partners.'"

She added: "If we're really going to try to build something together that we both never had or both never felt like we had, which was a family with a husband and a wife, and a mother and a father, and we embrace all of our children and we show them something that we didn't have."
