It was full of surprises, with appearances from Bad Bunny and J Balvin and Jennifer's daughter, Emme. Each singer performed some of their biggest hits, with J.Lo singing "Jenny From the Block," "On the Floor," and "Waiting for Tonight." Shakira reminded us of her catchy jams by performing "She Wolf" and "Waka Waka." They both are more than capable of performing on such a worldwide stage on their own, but they absolutely stunned by combining their formidable power.

J.Lo put her Hustlers training to use while performing "Waiting for Tonight," climbing on a pole with green lighting effects flashing behind her. What a stunning visual.

Emme came out and really blew our minds.

When Jennifer's 11-year-old daughter began singing "Let's Get Loud," the performance went to the next level. What a great use of the element of surprise! While there were rumors that they would bringing many different acts to the stage, we didn't see this one coming. Emme took on that stage like a seasoned vet, and she didn't look one bit nervous. This child was born to be a star!

While Emme proudly sang Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA," J.Lo walked out with an American flag draped over her shoulders, and when she opened it, it turned into a Puerto Rican flag. What a moment!

Jennifer's post prior to the show was EVERYTHING.

The singer shared a photo of her and Shakira embracing from rehearsals, and she captioned it: "So excited to share the stage with you tonight @Shakira! ✨💕✨ Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do. #LetsGetLoud #GirlPower #SuperBowlLIV #SBLIV." Latinas can do anything and everything, and this performance is proof!

We can't wait to watch this full performance over and over again.

The state of the country right now is uncertain for a lot of Latinos, but Shakira and Jennifer showed us how powerful we can be, regardless of where we come from. A little girl from Barranquilla, Colombia, and a young girl from the Bronx, New York, just proved on the world's biggest stage that when we unite, we are unstoppable. No matter what is going on around us, Latinos will always have this monumental moment to look back to and be proud of who we are. And for that, we will always be indebted to J.Lo and Shakira.
