Bad Bunny represented for Puerto Rico.
The rapper came out in a full silver ensemble and really let his talent shine. He looked confident and powerful while rapping his verse in Cardi B's hit song "I Like It" alongside Shakira--and it was a moment!
Puerto Rico and Colombia came to represent heavily this year, and it was wonderful.
J Balvin came out to sing along with Jennifer, and they sang his hit "Mi Gente." It was intense! J.Lo showed off her best dance moves while the Colombiano fired up the crowd with his jams.
This moment was breathtaking.
J.Lo put her Hustlers training to use while performing "Waiting for Tonight," climbing on a pole with green lighting effects flashing behind her. What a stunning visual.
J.Lo seemed to make a political statement during the show.
While Emme proudly sang Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA," J.Lo walked out with an American flag draped over her shoulders, and when she opened it, it turned into a Puerto Rican flag. What a moment!
Jennifer's post prior to the show was EVERYTHING.
The singer shared a photo of her and Shakira embracing from rehearsals, and she captioned it: "So excited to share the stage with you tonight @Shakira! ✨💕✨ Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do. #LetsGetLoud #GirlPower #SuperBowlLIV #SBLIV." Latinas can do anything and everything, and this performance is proof!
We can't wait to watch this full performance over and over again.
The state of the country right now is uncertain for a lot of Latinos, but Shakira and Jennifer showed us how powerful we can be, regardless of where we come from. A little girl from Barranquilla, Colombia, and a young girl from the Bronx, New York, just proved on the world's biggest stage that when we unite, we are unstoppable. No matter what is going on around us, Latinos will always have this monumental moment to look back to and be proud of who we are. And for that, we will always be indebted to J.Lo and Shakira.
