The award for the husband of the year goes to: Prince Harry. A video has surfaced of the royal and wife Meghan Markle's attendance to the European premiere of The Lion King in July 2019, and it seems to be there that he began the conversation with Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company Bob Iger that would lead to the former actress' new deal with Disney.

The royal couple met with some powerful people at the event including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and the Disney CEO. The clip shows the moment the Duke of Sussex is chatting with the Disney boss and shares that his wife is interested in doing voice-over work for animated films. The duchess seems to be unaware that her husband was setting her up for a massive opportunity while she was chatting it up with the singer and her husband.

The couple met with other fellow attendees who were part of the Disney film, including Beyoncé and Elton John. While at the time people mostly focused on Beyoncé and the duchess meeting for the first time and their embrace, the important conversation was happening between Harry and the Disney chief.

Now a video with audio of the conversation has surfaced.

Harry began the conversation with the CEO by saying, "You know she does voice-overs, right?" The executive reacted with a surprised tone, and the duke followed it with, "She's really interested." Iger then says "We'd love to try." What a great husband! Not only is he proudly speaking about his wife's voice-over skills but also setting her up with someone powerful who could give her a major work opportunity.

The video from July resurfaced after it was reported on Saturday, June 11, that the duchess signed a deal with Disney to do voice-over work. The  newspaper The Times reported that she will be doing a voice-over for a Disney project in exchange for a donation to the wildlife charity Elephants Without Borders.

The report followed their announcement that they would be stepping away from royal duties.

The couple released a statement on Wednesday, January 8, that they would be stepping away from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family and moving to North America. "We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," they shared on Instagram. "We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages." It's unclear whether or not she will return to her acting career, but based on this video, it seems like her husband will support and encourage her every step of the way.
