Have you watched Kim Kardashian's True Hollywood Story yet? It does a great job of capturing Kim's rise to celebrity. What's particularly surprising about it is that it manages to share details about Kim that aren't common knowledge, and that's quite an accomplishment. It's remarkable because she isn't what anyone would consider a private person. Her entire career and empire are built on her reality TV persona and sharing her life with her fans.

Think about it, what don't we already know about Kim? She seems to put it all out there for public consumption, and whatever she doesn't share gets put out for her. Is there a day when Kim isn't a headline somewhere?

Still, Kim and those close to her shared some great details about her life that are touching, real, and even relatable. For example...

Kim will never stop being grateful to Paris Hilton.

The clip here is from an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians where Kim says that Paris Hilton "literally" gave her a career. It's not new news that Kim is grateful to Paris, but Kim's True Hollywood Story episode goes into more depth about exactly how Paris helped launch Kim's career.

“She was such a great, like, mentor for me," Kim said. "I really am grateful for my experiences with her. She’s a huge, huge reason of my success.” It's really sweet that Kim always gives Paris so much credit for helping her out in the beginning.

Kim's makeup artist stood by her side against his agent's advice.

Mario Dedivanovic's agent asked him to stop working with Kim. Why? In Mario's words: "The elitist world, they look down upon people like reality stars. I had an agent that demanded that I stop working with her. They said that she'll never be successful and you're going to go right down with her and you're going to lose your entire career."

Mario didn't listen to that agent. Instead of dumping Kim, he dumped the agent. Looks like he made the right decision, because both he and Kim are doing just fine and that agent is probably kicking themselves.

Ryan Seacrest did what?

Ryan Seacrest did what?

Splash News

Believe it or not it was Ryan Seacrest who pitched the idea of Keeping Up With the Kardashians to E! as a show. It all came about because Kris Jenner’s best friend, Kathie Lee Gifford--yes, that Kathie Lee Gifford--was always encouraging Kris to have a TV show about the family. Then Kris met the casting director for Dancing With the Stars, who came over one evening and was like, “This is just crazy, I’ve gotta introduce you to Ryan Seacrest.” Ryan loved the idea of a reality show centering around Kris’ family and took it to E! and the rest is reality TV history.

Kim and Kanye's love story.

One of the sweetest parts of the episode is when Kim and Kanye West share their love story. Kanye said about Kim: “Any time I was around her, I saw her, it was a magnetic attraction to this force of energy. She was good, pure, happy, loving, brave, courageous, strong.” Isn't that beautiful?

“Being a mom is everything," she said. "It’s the best feeling in the world. I just love being a mom. You know it’s exhausting, it’s grueling, but it’s the best." We couldn't agree with her more.
