The video was taken down from the website.
It was the now-deleted video's title and description that seemed to rub Cardi the wrong way. "Cardi B Admits Baby Kulture Calls Someone Else 'Mommy' Because She Works So Much: It 'Feels Wack.'" The description read: "Cardi B is opening up about balancing work and motherhood. The Rhythm + Flow judge reveals that she's experienced some consequences of focusing on her career, admitting that 1-year-old daughter Kulture calls someone else 'Mommy.'"
In the interview, she was discussing how she balances work and motherhood.
The rapper was promoting her Netflix show Rhythm + Flow when they asked her about balancing work and mom life. On her Instagram Live she said that she told the reporter that she does her best to spend as much time as possible with baby Kulture, adding that when you don't spend time with your kids, it "sucks" if they start calling other people "mommy." She then claimed that they had "chopped up" the answer to make it seem like that her daughter is doing so.
Cardi had a loaded and explicit reaction to the video.
Cardi addressed the publication in an explicit, NSFW Instagram Live video in which she claimed Access Hollywood had edited her two-minute long response to make it seem like she said that her daughter someone else "mommy." She slammed the publication for using her and her daughter as clickbait and even wished some rough things on the interviewers, and said she would "spit" on them the next time she spotted them on the red carpet.
Fans were quick to jump to Cardi's defense.
While some were upset at the profanity-filled reaction Cardi shared and all the insults she spewed at the online publication, her fans seemed to understand where she was coming from. Cardi has made it clear in the past that she takes motherhood seriously, and she has once again proven that her child is not something to play with.
