Alex Rodriguez said something TOTALLY not nice about Kylie Jenner in his recent interview with Sports Illustrated, and Kylie was not about to let it slide. It all started with a tweet from People that said, "Kylie Jenner Talked About 'How Rich She Is' at the Met Gala, Says Alex Rodriguez." OUCH!

Well, Kylie saw that tweet and responded to it to set the record straight. Now, people like to bash the Kardashain-Jenner family and point out all their supposed flaws, but it's Alex who comes off looking like a jerk in this case. Not only was his comment about Kylie unnecessary, it also seems to be untrue. Let's break it down.

Here's what Alex told "Sports Illustrated."

"We had a great table," Alex told Sports Illustrated. "The black guy from The Wire--Idris Elba, yeah, and his new wife. Some famous singer next to me, I don’t know what her name is. Versace--Donatella. We had Kylie and Kendall. And we had an Asian gentleman from Rich Asians, the lead. Kylie was talking about Instagram and her lipstick, and how rich she is."

Before we move on to the whole Kylie thing, can we pause for a second and note that it's kind of strange that Alex called Idris Elba "the black guy" from The Wire. Have you watched The Wire, Alex? There are quite a few black guys on that show. And why you gotta say he was with his "new" wife? You could have just said he was with his wife. As for saying "the Asian gentleman from" Crazy Rich Asians, yeah, that's kind of weird because that movie had a lot of Asian gentlemen in it, so good thing you identified him as the lead.

Anyway, back to Kylie. It just seems rude to say that Kylie was talking about Instagram, her lipstick, and how rich she is because it makes it seem like that's all she talked about, which according to Kylie WAS NOT the case.

Kylie was not amused by what Alex said.

She replied on Twitter to People: "Umm no i didn’t. We only spoke about Game of Thrones" and emojis expressing her exasperation. Good for her for setting the record straight!

Well, Alex got wind of Kylie's response and kind of, sort of apologized. It's hard to tell.

Is this an apology, or is he being sarcastic?

Sometimes it's hard to tell what people mean in writing because you can't read the tone, but Alex came back at Kylie with, "OMG that’s right @KylieJenner!! It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you. ."

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he just forgot how the conversation with Kylie went. Hopefully, he will reach out to her personally as well. It's the least he can do after calling her out publicly for something she didn't even do.
