Karma is powerful and something must have made Khloé want to take this step.
Khloé preempted her postings clarifying that this was "her truth," as she seemed to have been cleaning out her closet. There's no mention on her stories as to why she decided to take this step now, but she was determined to do right by her own recollection of events.
In an extensive story, Khloé tried to explain her side of the story.
Kim Kardashian's sister tried to shed light on the start of her relationship with the man who would become her baby's father.
She clarified that he pursued her and that when he came clean with the fact that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant, he went to great lengths to make her believe that the relationship with that woman was in fact over. According to Khloé, she had Tristan's lawyers, friends, business partners ... and even his mother (!) confirm that the relationship was done, although now it seems that she may have been wrong all along.
She was very apologetic throughout her entire post.
Khloé doesn't come out right and say that Tristan cheated on his ex with her when they started their relationship, but she does mention that she has tons of doubts. That's the reason why she proactively asks for forgiveness and apologizes in case "her truth" was, in fact, "the truth."
The couple reportedly broke up in February 2019 after another infidelity rumor surfaced.
When Khloé heard that Tristan had allegedly cheated on her with Kylie Jenner's friend, Jordyn Woods, she finally called it quits. According to different sources, she didn't want to keep putting up with his continuous games and ended the relationship, although she didn't make a public statement about it.
The closest she came to talking about the topic was a tweet she posted a week after the latest cheating drama in which she thanked her followers for the support and told them she'd be back on social media to talk about it when she could find the strength to deal.
