The "Tu Vida en la Mía" singer shared his feelings about the couple's engagement.
Marc was awarded the honor of Order of the Golden Sphinx from the Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 on Monday, April 15, and Us Weekly caught up with the singer at the event. The reporter brought up the engagement news and asked Marc if he was happy for the actress and her baseball star fiancé. Marc said, "Yes, of course I am!"
Marc was previously asked about the rumors that the couple was getting married in 2017.
Rumors were swirling in 2017 that A-Rod and Jen would be getting engaged, and TMZ caught up with Marc when he was out with girlfriend Raffaella Modugno to ask him if he would attend an ex's wedding. When he didn't respond to that question, TMZ asked him about the wedding rumors. "Well, I hope I'm invited," Marc said with a smile at the time. Jen's ex-boyfriend Casper Smart was also at the same Hollywood restaurant, but he stayed silent.
Marc and Jen have had a pretty amicable relationship post-split.
They were longtime friends before they tied the knot in 2004, and that friendship seems to have remained since they divorced in 2014 after 10 years of marriage. They are parents to their adorable 11-year-old twins, Emme and Max, and have continued to have a good relationship as co-parents.
