Pablo's entire life changed in a matter of seconds.
The actor is said to have been on his way to the airport when the altercation took place. His brother-in-law was behind the wheel when they seemingly cut the man off, which sparked the confrontation. The brother-in-law's young son was also in the car. After his hearing, his lawyers said Pablo is a peaceful man who was concerned for his family's safety. "This was about a peaceful man protecting his family," defense attorney Philip Reizenstein said. "They were assaulted and attacked without warning or provocation."
Juan was found unconscious on the street by paramedics and taken to a nearby hospital.
The man died on April 4 at Jackson Memorial Hospital from injuries he sustained from the punch. He reportedly fell to the ground after being punched.
Security video surfaced of the altercation between Pablo and the other driver.
In a turn of events, the moment was caught on camera and the video began circulating the web. The clip shows Juan Ricardo Hernández getting out of his vehicle and approaching the driver's window. It is said he hurled insults at the driver before walking away, and then, a man who appears to be the actor also gets out of the car and follows the man. He punches him in the face and the older man falls to the ground.
