It's been a year full of highs and lows for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West--and it's far from over. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday, December 13, to reignite his ongoing feud with fellow musician Drake. Kanye revealed that after six months of trying to have a conversation with the "Nice For What" rapper, the pair finally spoke over the phone yesterday--and that Drake allegedly threatened him and his family. So naturally, Kim also stepped in.

Drake and Kanye were known to share a close bond with each other for years, with Drake saying the Chicago rapper was his inspiration. Things took a turn between them earlier this year when Pusha T, one of the artists signed to Ye's Good Music label, took shots at Drake on his song "The Story of Adidon" and exposed him for having a secret child. The Canadian rapper later said that he had shared that information with Kanye, which led him to believe he's the one who gave Pusha the ammo to use against him. Kanye said that Drake has been dissing him in his songs ever since, including the track "Sicko Mode" he made with Travis Scott, who is dating Kylie Jenner

Kanye started things off by saying that if anything happens to him, Drake would be to blame.

Things got super intense after Kanye said Drake finally called him. "Drake called trying to threatened me," the "I Love It" rapper tweeted. "It just doesn’t sit right on my spirit. I got a family and kids. 69 is locked up xxx is dead. The kid that ran on stage is in the hospital."

Kanye believes that Drake took shots at him in his verse on "Sick Mode."

The song was released after the Pusha T feud and during his rant, Kanye tweeted that he believes a specific verse by Drake took aim at him and made threats against him and his family, especially his little boy, Saint. "I still got scores to settle, man. I crept down the block/Made a right. Cut the lights, paid the price/N----s think it's sweet, it's on sight," Drake raps on the track. "Jesus Christ, checks over stripes. That's what I like, that's what we like/Lost my respect, you not a threat."

Kanye said Drake threatened his family.

Kanye quoted part of the lyrics and mentioned that Saint passes by the "God's Plan" rapper's house since he and Kanye live close to each other. Yikes!

During his rant, Kanye also took aim at Travis.

"How you gone be on Trav’s song coming at me. Trav should have never allowed that," Kanye tweeted. "I used to bring Travis with me everywhere with me. I'm an inspiration to both him and Drake." We wonder how Kylie feels about all of this?

Kim is known to stick up for her man whenever he finds himself in any turmoil and this time was no different.

Kim tweeted out a sweet note and defended her hubby by listing some of his many accomplishments and saying he's the most brilliant person she knows.

Kim showed her ride or die side in her note to Drake, which wasn't as cordial or nice.

Kim sent out a warning to the Canadian rapper and let him know her family is not one to mess with. She also reminded Drake that her husband paved the way for him to have the success he has had.

Drake didn't respond to the couple, but instead just laughed it all off.
