The family has always seemed an example in how to do things right.
From the very beginning of their relationship, outsiders have marveled at how well A-Rod, J.Lo and her ex Marc Anthony have handled the blending of their families, but very little of Alex's ex-wife is ever mentioned and we never see her photographed with the rest of the family. Still, she told Page Six in an interview last week, "Alex and I have worked well trying to create a stable environment for our daughters and there has never been an issue. Until now," said Cynthia who is engaged to a man she has a third child with.
J.Lo is being accused of suggesting a drastic decrease in payments.
Reports are saying that during the September meeting, Jennifer actually suggested that Alex's support payments be drastcially reduced to $10,000 per month and that she actually made him leave the meeting room while she continued negotiations. "All I can tell you, there's been a shift, and I'm not sure what to attribute it to," Cynthia said. It seems she's passive aggressively insinuating that the shift has something to do with Jennifer, but it's unlikely that J.Lo attended the meeting without Alex specifically asking for her to be there.
They both spend a lot of time with the kids.
While we don't know the details of their custody arrangement, Jennifer and Alex seem to spend a lot of time with both his and her kids, including personally shuttling them to school, family vacations and holidays and many more days. With recent reports of the couple being spotted ring shopping, it's not all that surprising that Jennifer would be involved in his financial matters at this point. If they get married, what he does with his money could affect her.
It seems there's no love lost between her and the kids.
In the wake of the claims against her, just yesterday Jennifer shared an adorable photo of her daughter Emme snuggling and smiling with Alex's daughter Ella. It's clear she loves his children, so while things may be a bit rocky as they settle the child support issues, it doesn't appear to be affecting their relationships too much. After all, we all go through hard times at some point.
