Nicki flat out asked Tyga if he missed Kylie.
“Nah, I’m good… I’m good, love. Enjoy.” he replied. The messiness only got worse from there.
Next, Nicki asked Tyga if he felt like he “helped put Kylie on the map.”
“Big facts. No cap. Everybody knows that. That’s public,” he said.
Nicki tried to reel him in and question whether Kylie didn’t have a role in her own success but he continued to claim credit. “She always had a platform and she was always destined to be what she was going to be regardless, but, when I stepped in, there was a lot of codes being taught," he said. "It was like, you could do this, you should start this, you should start doing your hair like this, or you should do this.”
Tyga essentially said that he was responsible for Kylie’s image and encouraged her to appropriate black culture.
“You should adapt because you need black people to f*ck with you because you need culture,” he continued. “If you ain’t got black people behind you, you ain’t got nothing. Ain’t nobody gonna listen. You can’t influence nobody.”
He is ok with their break up and has no issues with Travis Scott.
He refused to take a shot at Nicki’s rival but stayed on her good side by giving her Queen album a shout-out.
Kylie AND their daughter, Stormi, got dragged into Nicki’s drama because she felt Travis used Kylie to give his album sales a boost.
Nicki wasn't mincing words.
This led to a very awkward moment on the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.
The internet went wild over a TMZ clip that showed Kylie turning around to avoid running into Nicki.
Nicki later backtracked and said she didn’t have an issue with Kylie.
"TMZ posted a video saying Kylie Jenner avoided me at the red carpet. It was funny, and I thought it was cute. I said it on the last show, and I'll say it again: I f--king love Kylie, and that's never gonna change," she said on the first episode of Queen Radio. "She has been put in a little awkward situation, but this isn't real life—this is entertainment. I love Kylie, and so do my fans.” She also said that she loved Kylie's sister Kim Kardashian.
This Tyga interview tells a different story.
It's going to be interesting to see this drama play out.
