Jennifer Lopez gave Alex Rodriguez's daughter Ella singing lessons & he did the most dad thing ever

Jennifer Lopez gives Alex Rodriguez's daughter singing lessons

Between working on her Spanish album Por Primera Vez and her successful Las Vegas "All I Have" residency, Jennifer Lopez has been killing it in her music career lately. It's no wonder Alex Rodriguez's youngest daughter, 8-year-old Ella, decided to take some music lessons from her. J.Lo acted as her vocal coach in a video posted to social. It's the cutest thing!

More from MamásLatinas: Selena Quintanilla's sister posted a pic with Jennifer Lopez & it's so heartwarming

A-Rod's daughter was singing Alessia Cara's "Scars to Your Beautiful" with J.Lo right there giving her pointers. It was the sweetest stepmother-daughter situation. They weren't the only ones there either. J.Lo's friend Stevie Mackey, vocal coach to J.Lo, Kelly Rowland, Selena Gomez and others, were there playing the keyboard. Bebe Rexha was there and Alex Rodriguez was the one filming the video of Ella singing. In fact, the proud dad (and proud boyfriend, I'm sure) posted it to his Instagram Stories, which apparently his daughter wasn't so thrilled about.

Alex claims his daughter stopped speaking to him after he posted the video. "She didn't talk to me for a whole day because I posted that," he told Us Weekly magazine. "But I reminded her she gave me the green light!"

Kids are too cute sometimes. Ella clearly got a little shy about her vocal skills being broadcasted all over the internet but, in all fairness Alex claims she did give him permission to post and she sounds really good!

Plus, is there anything cooler than a video of you singing and getting coached by J.Lo herself? Definitely not. Who knows, maybe she'll pursue a musical career just like her stepmom.

When you give your boo's daughter singing lessons as if she were your own, you KNOW things are real serious. I'm seeing an engagement happening before the year ends. You heard it here first!
