Julian Gil speaks out for the first time after his split from Marjorie de Sousa
After Venezuelan actress Marjorie de Sousa publicly spoke out about her split from Julian Gil, it was the Argentinean actor who actually talked in detail about what happened. In an exclusive interview with MamásLatinas, the newly minted businessman spoke honestly about the sad breakup from the mother of his 3-month-old baby, Matias, who was born this past January.

During the launch of his new line of products, Carson Life, Julian Gil confirmed to MamásLatinas that he and Marjorie de Sousa are indeed separated. The couple had gotten engaged just a few months after finding out she was pregnant with their first child.
"Everyone knows that I had a beautiful baby boy, who you'll all soon meet wtih Marjorie; she's someone that in some way I love deeply. We're not together, but in a way we'll be together for the rest of our lives because we share a shild and that's a life-long project," the actor told us exclusively. He also asked fans not to believe any of the rumors.
"There's been a lot of speculation, a lot of gossip; but don't listen to the gossip. Yes, we're separated, that's something I can say," Gil said about the end of his relationship and the legal process that he's facing against his ex-fiance.
"Yes, there's a legal process, but it's a normal legal process, something any person ending a relationship for the good of their child. It's all done so the baby has a better future and right now we're in that process, stipulating everything that has to do with his family relationships. But no, it's not like we're at war or anything like that," he concluded.
Gil's is a very different version from the one that De Sousa shared in a press release just yesterday that said there's no communication between her and her ex:
There's a legal process right now between both parties since, although from my part I've always looked for a personal and friendly dialogue, this was not the case with the person in question, which is why now my team of lawyers will be in charge of everything under the laws of Mexico, which is where my son was born. They'll decide how things will go from now on.
Julian Gil also expressed his regret: "Sadly it was a life project; I speak for myself, but in a way for her, since we both had big hopes that everything would turn out well, but it didn't."
But is there a possibility of a reconciliation? "The possibility that exists today is to be able to lead a beautiful friendship to help our son succeed, which is the responsibility that I have as a father," Gil said. "I'm sure that it's the same responsibility she has as a mother, to be able to give the baby the best life possible, like I've done with my two older kids."
Here's the full interview with the handsome galán, who we'll be seeing soon with Itatí Cantoral in the TV series about legendary Mexican actress Silvia Pinal.
We wish Julian the best always.
