The Concussion actor traveled to Colombia with Marc Anthony in 2014  and fell in love with the country, the culture and its music.

He loved it so much that he went back to the recording studio after 15 years to make a song with Colombian band Bomba Stereo.

"I was in Colombia, in Ibagué, with Marc Anthony, and he was listening to ‘Fuego' [another Bomba track]," Smith says in the video. "And I said, 'That song is crazy!’ And almost completely unrelated, my manager Miguel is friends with people at [Sony Music Latin, Bomba’s label], and he showed me this song, 'Fiesta.’ And I said, 'That is crazy, I need to be on that.'"

"I love Brazil, the culture, everything that I have learned living with  Gisele...Our idea is to spend more time there," he said in 2015.

"Within a day I was fantasizing about buying a house there,” said the CNN journalist to Architectural Digest when talking about the first day he arrived at the Brazilian beach town of Trancoso.

He ended up buying some land and built a dream vacation home. "In my New York office, though, I keep a picture of the Quadrado, which I find very meditative and calming. Just knowing that my house exists makes me happy,” Cooper said. WOW!

When asked about his favorite place he responded: "A corner in Recoleta (a Buenos Aires neighborhood) at the hotel near La Biela. That’s my favorite corner in the world. I go there a lot. Tourists go there, but also a lot of locals. Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges used to go there as well.
