Kim Kardashian opens up about the Paris robbery for the first time & you won't believe why

kim kardashianKim Kardashian has finally opened up for the first time about being robbed at gunpoint in Paris back in October of last year. The 36-year-old star took a  break from social media and most commitments ever since the terrifying experience. She only recently marked a comeback with a series of social media photos. Now the recent trailer of KUWTK tells Kim's side of the story--and it's a must-see.

Kim is seen in the trailer recounting the horrible experience in front of sisters Khloe and Kourtney. "They're going to shoot me in the back," she remembers while crying. "There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."

There's no doubt that this was a devastating experience. In this moment, you feel the sadness from Kim's family, but you also see what a strong support system they are to each other. We see Khloe reach out to hug Kim and the voiceover says, "We feel each other's pain."

The account is real and they are filming and promoting a reality show, but this is one of those instances when you can't hope to roll your eyes a little. Every single headline the family is in--both negative and positive--ends up becoming part of the show for ratings. That's why some critics thought the entire robbery was staged for ratings in the first place!

Yes, Kim was a victim, but she doesn't have to cash in or overexpose her recovery from the experience in this way. What I also find alarming is that they're also hashing out some of Kanye West's issues on the show.

The rapper has always been way more private and dealing with a mental breakdown is hard enough without realizing that personal details will get spilled by your wife for her reality show fame.

I feel bad for what Kim went through, but I wish they would really take a step back and handle their fame differently. It doesn't have to go down this way every time a family drama happens. It's honestly none of our business. Selling their "reality" got them this far, but there comes a point when it just starts feeling soulless.
