Jennifer Lopez looked JUST like Selena Quintanilla in Orlando tribute performance

Jennifer Lopez and Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote a song honoring the lives of the Orlando shooting victims called, "Love Makes the World Go Round." They performed the emotional new single on the Today show that left me so moved. But I can't lie, I couldn't help notice how much J.Lo looked like her musical icon Selena Quintanilla.

I don't know if J.Lo even realized it, but as she celebrated the lives of the Orlando victims we lost, she also looked a lot like one of her musical idols, Selena Quintanilla.

She wore what appeared to be a white bustier (similar to the ones the Queen of Tejano music used to rock) along with high-waisted white pants. In fact, Quintanilla wore an almost identical outfit at one of her stage  performances. Lopez wore a replica while playing Selena in the movie. Apparently J.Lo's much fancier version of the bustier bra was crafted by famed Italian lingerie house La Perla and cost $1,458. Wow--that's expensive!

Lopez is the first to admit that she's always been a fan and admirer of Quintanilla. Last spring she paid tribute to Selena at the Billboad Latin Music Awards. "There is only one Selena and there only ever will be," she said on the Today show following her performance. "She's just one of those special types of artists that – with her music and her spirit and her heart – really touched people." She even credited Selena for where she is in her career today.

"The impact that it had on my life, on my career … It was a great thing for her to be my mentor," she said. "And it was a great thing to have her teach me so much about how to navigate this business, but also how to navigate through life."

The first thing I thought when I saw her passionately dancing through that stage was, 'Wow, she looks just like Selena.' Considering that was her idol, I'm pretty sure she'd be honored by that kind of compliment.
