Christina Aguilera is coming back to 'The Voice'!
Season eight of The Voice is currently still in the battle rounds, but host Carson Daly went on the Today show and spilled the frijoles on whose butts will be in the red chairs next season and I am so excited to hear that Christina Aguilera will be back on The Voice for season eight. WOO to the HOO! I find this announcement of Xtina's return rather surprising considering she's quite busy at the moment.

Uh, let's not forget that the 33-year-old singing sensation had her second baby, Summer Rain Rutler (LOVE THAT NAME!), in August and she's also working on her eighth album, not to mention she also has her 6-year-old son Max to take care of. That's a lot. I wouldn't have been surprised if she decided to take another season off from The Voice, but I'm glad she's coming back.
Remember that Christina is one of the original coaches on The Voice. She took a break for seasons four, six and seven, but I'm sure she always gets dibs on one of those red chairs. While she was gone her seat was filled by other famous pompis belonging to Shakira and currently Gwen Stephani.
The other coaches joining Christina next season will be Blake Shelton, Adam Levine ... no surprises there ... and Pharrell and whatever hat he's wearing, of course. Nice, I hope that Christina manages to upstage Pharrell's hat at least once with some kind of crazy head decor.
More than a crazy hat competition, I hope we get to see some pictures of Summer Rain on the set of The Voice with her mommy. I'm thinking Christina will bring Summer Rain along given that she's so little, don't you?
