Mariah Carey calls Nick Cannon a cheater during live performance

Nick Cannon needs to watch his back because Mariah Carey is a scorned woman with a mic. The songstress recently shouted out her ex-husband's cheating ways while singing Billie Holiday's "Don't Explain" during Mariah Carey's live performance in Tokyo. According to TMZ, the 45-year-old singer was recorded changing the classic lyrics to, "I know you cheated, mother-bleep." Unfortunately, that wasn't the only thing that caused headlines.

A video of Mariah Carey singing in Toyko went viral after she sang her 90's hit, "Always Be My Baby," but was desperately struggling to hit the high notes and nail the right lyrics to the song. That is not a good look. I get that artists are human and forget lyrics, but sounding off pitch should not be happening to someone as legendary as Mariah.

I think she might be pushing herself too hard with this tour. Sometimes work can mend a broken heart, but if your voice and your heart is just not there then you really shouldn't waste people's time and money. While she is getting negative press, Cannon has been spotted chilling with his new back tattoo, which no longer reads, "Mariah." Thank goodness for that.

While Nick has spoken openly about the split and confirmed that they had been living in separate homes for a while, Mimi decided to stay quiet about the entire thing. Her rep released a statement, "I don't comment on Mariah's personal life, but Mariah is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour."

How about just focus on your kids and try to keep yourself out of the limelight. Staying relevant is just not worth this embarrassment--especially when you are an icon. At this point, Nick is coming out winning from all of the media attention. Unfortunately, we can't say the same for our girl Mariah. Just drop the mic and take a mental and emotional break. Your career will thank you for it later, Mimi.
