WATCH: 5-year-old takes over news segment & it's apparently the best thing EVER
Apparently, some people are naturals in front of the camera regardless of age. Case in point: 5-year-old Noah Ritter of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania who is garnering national attention after Newswatch 16's Sofia Ojeda interviewed him for a segment she was doing on the Wayne County Fair. I use the term "interview" lightly because really this kid grabbed the mic and with Ojeda's blessing and encouragement stole the show.
This kid managed to be so funny and it's not because he's trying to be a clown. No way, it's that he is quite verbose and apparently likes to use the word "apparently" quite often. In fact he's being referred to as the "apparently kid." It's apparent to me that you are going to love this kid because he is irresistible.

The clip starts when Ojeda stops Noah to ask him about the ride he was just on and he answers, "It was great and apparently I've never been on live television before." And with that line, a star is born. He goes on to say, "Apparently sometimes I don't watch the news because I'm a kid, and apparently Grandpa just gives me the remote and I have to watch the Powerball."
I really think that Newswatch 16 should consider hiring Noah to host his own kid's section of the news. He'd be great! Although, I'm not sure that Noah would say yes to the gig I want created just for him. Apparently, he has other plans. He will be starting kindergarten soon and he wants to be a paleontologist, not an on-camera reporter when he grows up. Watch Noah in action, he's apparently a nationwide star right now.
